Community Benefit Programs

The Wave provides reduced dues for those in financial need through our Membership Assistance Program (M.A.P.). Membership dues are subsidized on a needs-based sliding scale, based on family size and income.

Individual and corporate contributions, coupled with proceeds from our annual Whitefish Marathon, grants, and other fundraising campaigns, make financial assistance possible for people who need it most. Financial assistance offered is based on availability of funds and is easy and confidential.

For anyone to be considered for this program they must complete an application and provide documentation. Once our administrative staff has the application it can take 3-5 weeks to process and applicants are notified of approval.

SCHOOL TO POOL

The Wave works with the local elementary schools to offer complimentary swimming lessons to students during the school day. Aside from The Wave’s Red Cross Learn to Swim Program, the School to Pool program also helps our local youth to be safe in and around the water. An added benefit to all swimming lessons is a solid foundation to build from and become a better swimmer.

North Valley students are the focus of much of The Wave’s efforts. The Wave puts a little something extra out there for the students in our community. We have an A+ student program that provides free membership to all students with 4.0 GPAs. At the end of each grading period, students can drop their report cards off with membership to earn free membership over the next grading period.

30 day temporary membership available to enrolled high school students.
